Travlinq REST API is the main integration API provided by the Varank Enterprise platform for both its own user interfaces and external parties. Travelinq REST API is based on a JSON domain object model and RESTful operation model. The high-level integration landscape of Travlinq REST API is illustrated below.

For many requests to the Travlinq API, Travlinq acts as an integration HUB, making one or more requests to external Supplier APIs. The response times will heavily depend on the response times of the direct Supplier APIs. Travlinq will add low overhead (latency) to the requests. As we know, response times are very important in providing great user experiences, and we also try to work with suppliers to minimize the response times from their APIs as much as possible.

Travlinq REST API consists of multiple services catering to various operations. For an example Hotel search , Air search and Reservation service.
 
Auth Service:
This service provides endpoints for handling user log-in and log-out .
 
Air Search Service:
This service provides endpoints for searching Air for given criteria . Then possible to gets the more fares for a given search result from the initial search
 
Hotel Search Service:
This service provides endpoints for searching Hotels for given criteria. Then possible to get the more rooms for a given search result from the initial search
 
Reservation Service:
This service provides endpoints for Reservation operations for adding items to the cart. Then the cart will be converted into a Reservation.
 
Asynchronous Data Fetching:
This service provides endpoints for fetching data asynchronously. Each request has a maximum 20s lifetime, so the client has to use the fetch endpoint and retrieve the relevant response.
